About Me

Hi, I am Dave Lung. I am a South African born comic artist living in Austria and I have been working professionally in comics since 2001. I started out as an inker on Batman for DC Comics and since then I have worked on a wide range of titles for DC, Marvel and several independent publishers.

Over the years I have created covers, interiors and in store variants for books like Justice League Dark, Poison Ivy, Star Wars, Silver Surfer Dark, Beta Ray Bill and many others. I love drawing anything cosmic or horror themed and I pour a ridiculous amount of care into every piece.

My cover quality commissions take days of work because I want each illustration to feel alive and powerful. I work out my layouts and roughs digitally, then finish everything with traditional tools from fine liners to airbrush and paint.
